TheAditional Modules

 

The additional tools and modes are modules that were initially created for third parties but that may be of use to you. Placing one of these modules (they have the form of a DLL library) in one of the sliceOmatic directories is all that is needed for them to be included in the program.

 

These modules are available in the TomoVision installation script but are not installed by default.

 

Depending on what the module contains, it should go in one of the following sub-directories under the main installation directory:

- SliceO_Additional_Class:  If the module is a new class.

- SliceO_Additional_Tools: If the module contains an additional tool.

- SliceO_Additional_Mode: If the module contains an additional mode.

- SliceO_Additional_Menu: If the module contains an additional item for the "File" menu.

- SliceO_Additional_Config: If the module contains an additional item for the "Config" menu.

Additional modules can be protected by sliceOmatic's license system is so desired. If a developer does not want his module to be freely available, he can ask TomoVision for a license code. He will be provided with a code specific to his module and a license generating program to create user licenses for his module. The generated user licenses can then be read by the TomoVision_License program and incorporated in the license dongle.
