Mode TAG: Transfer

In this mode, you create transfer TAGs from one 3D group to another.

This is useful if, for example, you have a PET/CT exam.  You can segment the CT images and transfer the TAGs from the CT study to the PET study.

Note:

The mode assume that both source and target groups are in the same frame of reference.  If they are not, then the results will, of course, make no sense.

However, if they are not, you can always use the RR3D class to register both 3D groups before doing the transfer.

Source List

Select a 3D group to use as the source of the TAG data.

Target List

Select the 3D group where the TAG will be transfered.

Compute

Pressing the Compute button will perform the the transfer from the source to the target. For each voxel of the target dataset, we will locate the center of that voxel and assign it the TAG value of the matching voxel in the source dataset.

System Variables defined in this library:

$TRANSFER_SAMPLE

(U8)

Each of the target voxel is oversampled in x, y and z using this value.  The maximum TAG from all oversampled source voxels is used.
