Date format
|
By default, we use the Canadian way of expressing dates, but if that's confusing for you, you can change the date format.
|

Floating point
|
You can specify the precision (number of significant digits) you want to use for floating point values. The choices are between 1 and 8 digits.

Units |
A number of tools and mode display and save dimension information. You can change the units used for these. These are just cosmetic changes, the actual computations are all based on the units specified in the image’s headers.
For distances, the choices are: m, cm, mm or µm For surfaces, the choices are: m2, cm2, mm2 or µm2 For volumes, the choices are: m3, cm3, mm3 or µm3

SCANCO |
When you read pQCT images from the SCANCO manufacturer, you have the option of having the pixels calibrated in either Hounsfield (HU) or densities (mg HA/ccm). Please note that this choice must be made before the images are read in sliceO.
