4.          Subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) analysis

 

•SAT is the adipose tissue between the muscle and the skin (HU range -190 to -30) colored with TAG 7 (Cyan)

•Either paint or Grow 2D can be used to analyze SAT

 

Note: ensure that the skin is not analyzed as SAT. However, the adipose tissue all the way to the skin needs to be analyzed.

 

TIP: Use F4 to look for little specks of cyan in the skin.
