System Requirements

The CPU & Memory

Baby SliceO is mostly a graphic interface enabling you to control the segmentation of your images. From time to time it does a few computer intensive tasks, but most of the time it just controls the interface. So you do not need the most powerful computer around to run the program.

However, Baby SliceO is a memory hog, so you need a lot of RAM memory. The more memory the merrier.

The Graphic Card

Baby SliceO only work if you have an NVidea graphic card.  The program need at least a Kepler, Maxwell or Pascal micro-architecture (Tesla and Fermi do not support CUDA 3.0, the minimum needed for Baby SliceO.  The program will adapt itself to the amount of GPU memory you have but we recommend at least 2Gb available to the CUDA functions (typically found on a 4GB graphic card).

The Operating System

Baby SliceO runs on Windows, so you need to use a Microsoft Windows operating system.  The program only run on a 64 bit version of the operating system.

The VR modes

If you want to have access to the VR modes, you need the Oculus Rift goggles with the Oculus Touch devices.

You will also need an NVidea graphic card powerful enough to run the VR experience.  We recommend a Ge Force 1080 or better.
